"Elevation is Aspenís Modern American Bistro. When Elevation opened its doors in December 2000, it instantly became a localís favorite by combining a great atmosphere and friendly service with excellent food. Today, Elevation is well-established, with seven years in the competitive Aspen restaurant market. However, the Elevation team is not about to rest, rather, they are in search of new ways to improve your Aspen experience.
Chef Drew Scottís exquisite contemporary American cuisine takes diners to new heights and the seasonally inspired menu flourishes in the summer season, when local produce is available. Look for creative and mouth watering salads and appetizers, hand-crafted pastas, the freshest seafood and Wagyu (Kobe) New York Strip. Though young Chef Scottís cooking seems to be constantly evolving, Elevation is still considered a phenomenal value, staying true to the idea that fine dining can be casually priced.
Awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2007 and 2008, Elevation has full-time sommeliers on hand to help navigate an ever expanding wine list.
The newly improved Elevation patio, on the sunny side of Restaurant Row, brings the vibe for alfresco dining. All along, Tommy Tollesson, owner and founder of Elevation (along with business partner Gunner Sachs), has been striving to deliver the experience of a New York or Stockholm-style restaurant, rather than something commonly seen in Aspen. With the new addition of Social, the teamís second restaurant in the same building, the corner of Hopkins and Monarch is even more vibrant than before."
some of us drove from denver to Aspen to view the trees , etc. we had dinner outside at Elevations.. the food was very nice , however the service was not..first the waiter poured water all over one of the guest. the service very bad, they kept making excuses that there was a big party downstairs.. we got up and checked and the bar was busy but very few people eating... it took 3 hours to order..get our meal.. with out silver ware.. was not the service we expected..then to get our bill was a mess too... I know you are at the end of your season however you still need to treat your guest better...
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to
