I went to this place on Thanksgiving night and the staff was very hospitable (despite working on a holiday). The Tap selection was quite good and the bartender and manager were both able to make appropriate recommendations for me and my party. If we return to Breckenridge we would definitely visit this place again. P.S. if you’re lucky the “ Ed” will be bartending.
I went in to the Park Avenue Pub and I was just trying to find out informatin about food. I was trying to get takeout and there was an event going on. I approached a man with curly hair at the end of the bar and inquired about the event to figure what it was about and he was short in his answers with me and had a very "uppity" attitude... he told me the event I could drink at the bar but I was not allowed to eat.. if he just told me it was "a private event can I help you with something else" I would have been fine but just as I am about to ask him if I can order food for takeout he completely ignores me in middle of our conversation to say hello to a guest of the event coming in. He did it on purpose to hint at me to leave his event when I was about to order food! was so mad at him treating me like that so disrespectfully that I said a rude comment to him and walked out.... I have nevver been treated so horribly in my life. I will never go there again and NEVER recommend this place to anyone i meet.... that guy needs to be fired you just dont treat people that way.
5 Stars for the service at Park Ave Pub. The bartenders know how to treat the locals, and are great at making any tourist feel like they are at home in their own small town bar. Great menu, great service!
