The J&G Grill offers a variety of dining experiences including courtside seating at the exhibition kitchen, a communal table seating 22 and the Chef’s private table for ten with an adjacent Chef’s Terrace for private outdoor dining. The main dining room seats 75 with outdoor dining during warmer months. An elegant private dining room in The St. Regis Wine Vault seats 28 and can be divided to accommodate two private groups simultaneously. The St. Regis Wine Vault provides access to an impressive 4,600 bottle wine cellar and will open with over 900 different wine labels.
Redefining après ski chic, the J&G Grill is Jean-Georges’ first foray into the Intermountain West. With décor reflecting contemporary mountain elegance, the J&G Grill is an expression of understated style with highly polished Venetian plaster walls warmed by the glow of a double-sided wood burning fireplace. The walls of the entry, foyer and fire place are gray quartz stacked stone and the ceiling is framed in walnut ceruse beams. Classic herringbone carpet introduces a styling motif that is repeated in the marble wall finish of the open grill.
Located on the third level of the hotel where The St. Regis Deer Crest’s European-style funicular enters the building from the base of the Deer Valley Resort, the J&G Grill boasts views of the Deer Hollow ski run and breathtaking Wasatch and Uinta Mountain vistas. Outdoor dining is available on the expansive slope-side patio during warmer months, with a select menu available to guests of The St. Regis Deer Crest’s Val d’Isere-Style Ski Beach during ski season.
Overall experience was amazing! First of all you arrive at the base of Deer Valley resort where you take the funicular up to the hotel. Neat experience! We started our evening in the bar which is where we enjoyed some of the fresh ingredient signature cocktails. You have to try the ginger marg! We then went into the restaurant where the service staff was extremely friendly and attentive from the hostess to the server all the way to the management. Wine list is amazing! Menu is tricky to decide because everything looked so good but we decided on the 5 course tasting menu which had so many delicious courses! (The tuna tar tar and sea bass to mention a few). Locals know best so if you're visiting Park City and are looking for an outstanding experience, then check out the J&G grill!
