well that did not take long....CLOSED....
Being from SLC, i decided to go by my favorite PC burger spot to grab lunch. I was disapointed to see that Flippin Burgers had closed. So i decide to go in and check this new place out. Well i wish i hadn't. I walked in around noon and no one else was in the place. I asked the server /mgr where their customers where and he replied, it's now slow season and we do the bulk of our business at night. I guess its supposed to be some sort of sports bar now. The only thing about this place that remotely resembles a sports bar is their TV wall. No atmosphere whatsoever! Well since i was there i ordered a burger on their recommendation. I waited almost 20 minutes for my lunch; really?? i was the only person in this place !! and it wasn't even good. Needless to say I won't be back. Great location !! They should open a restaurant here !!
after a long time customer of the business that previously was in this location, i thought hat id go in and try the new place out. Man was i shocked! this might be the most awkward restaurant ive ever stepped foot in in. Its obvious they have no clue what their doing and their concept simply is in the wrong location. Service, food and atmosphere was just aweful. Was yearning for a good burger, which i used to get in this location, and was completely dissapointed. Over the years i have always supported most small businesses in PC BUT THIS ONE I SIMPLY CAN'T!
Miners grill is simply awefull in all aspects; over priced, tasteless and awkward staff. The owner was rude and talked about herself and her life on Wall Street as if that had anything to do with our experience in PC as we waited over 30mins for our drinks in an empty restaurant. The food we ordered was disappointing at best and tasteless... Miners Grill was our worst stop in PC which was awesome otherwise!!! Money and time not worth spending!!!!
My wife and I were in town for the Sundance Film Festival and we decided to check this place out for lunch after catching a movie at Eccles. From the outside, the place was very unassuming sitting at the corner storefront in Snow Creek Plaza, but once we entered, we were impressed with all of the themed details including historical photos of the old PC mines. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the staff was lively and attentive. They have quite possible the coolest TV wall that I have even seen in a sports bar. 4 large flat screen TVs that can be linked together to create one enormous display. Great for watching the big game. All in all, it’s a very cool place off of Main Street to grab some cold brews and pub grub. They have all the regular items you would expect – burgers, pizza, sandwiches, wings, etc., We tried some less obvious dishes like coconut shrimp & the gouda mac-n-cheese. The chipotle dipping sauce was addictive! We’ll definitely hit this place up again next year when were in town for Sundance.
