the Eating Establishment had just re-opened with new owners when we were in Park City in December 2016. we had breakfast at our hotel (St. Regis Deer Valley) the first morning but on our second day we came here...and returned each and every morning.... this eatery is a MUST... it has a down-to-earth, local, relaxed vibe, great music playing, and warm and welcoming staff... all that was great but it was the food that kept us coming... incredibly fresh and SO delicious with generous portions...it had something for everyone in our family---large, perfectly cooked steak and eggs or buttery french toast for the teenage boys...the most incredible shakshuka for those of us who are more health conscious (its made with potatoes which is AMAZING but they were accommodating to those of us who preferred it without) they also serve lunch and dinner...they serve beer as well (which we did not include in our breakfast order so am not sure what brews are available)... and location is perfect, right on Main Street... don't miss it!
We had a party of 16 and the service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food and would highly recommend it.
Worst service ever, waited SO long for our sub-par food (only 3 at our table) uncomfortably warm temperature inside, and rude staff. I will never eat there again!
Just finished breakfast this morning. Poor poor service and food a C+. Plan to make a morning of it.
We were not expecting the level of service based on earlier reviews. After being seated, we waited for more than 20 minutes without luck - no waiters came to attend on us. We also noticed that customers who were seated after us had food coming to their table where as we were without any water. Terrible service. It is possible this was a miss but then service and food is what differentiates good restaurants from mediocre. Based on my experience, I am not going to the place ever again.
I really liked this little restaurant. Good food and good folks.
The laid back, old Park City atmosphere is perfect for a weekend breakfast after a night out on Main Street. The coffee is great, and they also have fresh-sqeezed OJ. Check out the blackboard for the daily breakfast specials.
Best laid back Breakfast spot in town. Get the biscuits and gravy after a late night on the town.
This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Park City. The EE has two dining rooms with views of Main Street. Both have nice fireplaces in the winter. Went there yesterday and the food was excellent, as usual. The service is always prompt and the coffee comes in its own pitcher at your table, so you never run out. I usually go with the eggs benedict with their homemade hollandaise sauce and side of fresh cut potatoes, however, yesterday I tried the Hungry Miner skillet and was definitely impressed. The portion was huge and the price was right for Main Street. The EE always seems busy, but I rarely have to wait for a table. It's no wonder this place has been around for so long.
