Bombay House - Salt Lake City
Bombay House is one of the finest authentic Indian restaurants in all of Utah. The winner of numerous awards, including Best of State (2008) and Best Indian by City Weekly (1998-2009), Bombay House will transport you to India through it authentic flavors and traditional cooking methods.
Bombay House immerses your senses in the complete cultural experience of India. As soon as you walk through the door, you smell the exotic spices and see the lively murals from India on the walls throughout the restaurant. As you take your seat in one of their comfortable booths, you notice how busy and attentive the staff is; the service at Bombay House is fantastic and your server will guide you through their exotic menu.
Bombay House features an incredible variety of traditional Indian specialties. Highlights of the menu include Onion Bhaji, Lamb Tandoori (cooked in a real clay oven), Chicken Tikka Masala, and a large variety of Indian Flat Breads to go with your meal. Most dishes are served family style in individual platters that are perfect for sharing. Get an order of Basmati Rice and some Garlic Naan flat bread, and you have all the makings of a true Indian feast. Just make sure to save room for dessert, their homemade Mango Ice Cream is absolutely fabulous.
Bombay House also features a large vegetarian and vegan section of their menu, making it one of the best options in the city for vegetarians.
Bombay House is open for dinner Monday-Saturday from 4pm-10pm. This popular restaurant can get crowded, but I assure you it is worth the wait.

Great place for breakfast any time of the day. Usually go with the Athenian omelet - love the feta cheese. I get take out once in a while. Prices and food are both excellent.
