They Sushi Bar is incredibly popular among locals, is slam packed during the winter, and has a happening Happy Hour! From 4pm - 6pm, enjoy two for one specials on certain rolls, discounted sake, and and cocktail specials.
Sushi bar rocks! They have a great atmosphere and amazing happy hour specials! My favorite happy hour drink by far is the Asian Pear saketini and its only $5 bucks. They had just moved into their new location on 12/19/12 and it was packed with large parties of families for the holidays, since then the sushi bar has worked to accommodate more people with extra tables and to let people eat in the lounge if the kitchen can handle it. They still have the most delicious food in winter park. The screaming o roll is one of the best! Worth the wait!
Still waiting for a table. Too bad they can't accommodate too many parties at once. Will not go back. Waited 1 1/2 hr so far!!
Very friendly staff, great food, my husband is not a big sushi fan but he raved about how awesome his dinner turned out to be. We got some specials because we went during happy hour so that made it even better, definitely recommend.
Excellent sushi in the mtns. menu seems a bit tempered to broader tastes but you can still fill yourself with traditional sushi/sashimi. seaweed salad is great. I always hit the sushi bar at least once per visit to WP.
Excellent staff service and food! Awesome environment. Perfect way to cap off a great day in the snow!
I lived in Winter Park from 2005-2009, and I recently moved back. The year in between I spent in Denver, and I failed (though not through lack of trying) to find a sushi restaurant in Denver that rivaled the Sushi Bar's mix of great sushi, excellent atmosphere, friendly staff and good prices. While sushi in any Colorado Mountain Town may not rival what you might find on the ocean on the West Coast, I have had many friends come to visit who have repeatedly said the Sushi Bar is better than anything they've found in their much larger cities. As for Roland's previous comments, I'm pretty confused and quite sure he must have been drunk, as I have yet to have the first piece of bad fish from the Sushi Bar .... And their Happy Hour is fantastic!
Great location next to Hernando's Pizza. The staff was very nice and helpful. We ordered spider rolls, California rolls, Albacore sashimi and Ahi Poke. It was all very poorly done. The spider rolls were laced with lettuce, scallions and seasoned with wasabi mayo, California rolls had the same seasoning. The Ahi Poke was shredded instead of cubed and very fatty with nerves running through it and the Albacore was in small thumb nail size flakes. Clearly the Sushi Chef had never eaten good sushi. Overall the establishment was very dirty and the outside wooden bench tables were warped and filthy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Roland
